sequoia's man asked how i'm doing. i said i did not want to ride this morning. understandable, he said. i pointed out that in the sixth month of winter i gets rather extenuated, gnome sane. he thanked me for adding up the time and pointed out that given that the first snow was in october, actually we are in the 7th month of winter. i thanked him back. he said that we will be having longer winters with more precipitation given the poles are melting and evaporating and precipitating. so this is not some weather anomaly, other than this sea change being a human anomaly, the anomaly is normal now, as nothing else is more normal now than anomaly. you could call it the anthropocenic anomaly, this crazy weather we're having. in the end i will all be one, when our season is done.
