if you can't control them by violence, you must control their minds. solidarity means concern for the lives of others. not regulatory capture. industry marginalizes the population, makes the population an amorphous mass, a scattered mass, atomized individuals, unlinked, unconnected. this industry creates unfocused anger that supports the political figures whose goal is to harm the people as much as possible. 
nobody is defending our interest. in a society based on control by private wealth the society reflects those values which are greed and the desire to maximize personal gain at the expense of the other. a global society based on that principle is moving toward massive destruction, collapse.
