w.c. field's asks a dude in the black pussy bar, you ever do any boondoggling? dude says no, not i. i guess it must have been somebody else. then the dude proceeds to boondoggle w.c. with wicked glee. 
i look it up and it as often is the case apparently can mean different things to different people in different circumstances and places. it means a fancy not to cub scouts, a costly waste of time in business. 
in the urban dictionary it can mean anything you damn well please.
