i learned about tv in prison, i mean a film about prison, i think it was the birdman of alcatraz, how they made television from bottles of water hanging in the tiny high prison windows that allowed them to see the world outside reflected upside down. i remember now they watched in the globe, like a fishbowl, whereas this is like a little movie screen projection, only a couple of inches high, but you can elongate it and bring it in or out of focus by moving the bottle. it's hard to get a picture as you have to photograph from the side.
